From 1 September 2023, both centres (Atlantis & Mozart Brain Lab) will be closed on Sundays (except for public holidays and extended weekends - a full list of these days can be found below and at reception).
Therapy is available from Monday morning to Saturday afternoon.
For Group I and Group II listening times, please ask at reception.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to hear in the group you want - this cannot be booked in advance. We will do our best to make this possible for you.
Like all sectors, we are finding it difficult to recruit new staff.
We find that weekend work in particular is a barrier here.
Therapy is an intensive process in which the brain is strongly stimulated.
The depth psychological effect on the subconscious cannot be underestimated.
We often find that the strong therapy programmes and the effect of the heavily filtered mother's voice require more processing time for many.
A day of rest will undoubtedly please every guest.
This will take place on Sundays from 1 September.
This will allow the effects of the therapy on cognitive, psychological, educational and physiological development to unfold even better.
Night therapy will continue as usual - also on weekends.
At the reception you will find an information bundle with fun activities for Sundays. Some of the activities on offer are a visit to the Lago Blossom swimming pool with its subtropical swimming area, the playground and children's zoo at Speelhof, the Nieuwenhoven nature reserve with its large outdoor playground, the outdoor playground in Bokrijk, a trip to the capital Brussels, the big cities of Hasselt, Bruges or Ghent or a trip to the fresh air by the sea. In short, there is something for everyone!
We hope that not only the children but also the parents can relieve stress in this way and experience the feeling of a short holiday!
Tomatis therapy is a mother-child cure that focuses on the symbiosis between the two.
If they are allowed to find each other not only during the therapy but also on this day of rest, this not only benefits the therapy but also the relationship between mother and child.
