Welcome
to Mozart-Brain-Lab. This enterprise
was founded in 1999 and is located in Sint-Truiden in Belgium, in a
building dated 1882 and completely renovated.
The creation of MBL is the
result of multiple requests to Jozef Vervoort from the researchers and spouse Dr.
Alfred et Léna Tomatis, who were looking for a shelter for their huge library
and for a therapist who would continue their works.
The development of the Audio-Psycho-Phonology, the new equipment for the
commitment to the therapy and the care for the works of Tomatis are the main
tasks of MBL. It is also possible to follow a therapy and find accommodation in
this beautiful building. The Mozart-Brain-Lab institute is a subsidiary of Atlantis.
Training
MBL organizes trainings in Audio-Psycho-Phonology since February 2002: the training in Dutch, French, German and English, takes four weeks followed by practical trainings.
Research
In 2007, the "Journal of Neurotherapy" published a scientific study organized by Mozart-Brain-Lab and led by Jozef Vervoort, Prof. Martien J. A. de Voigt and the neurologist Dr. Werner Van den Bergh, MD.
Museum
The building of MBL houses a museum where a multitude of books, manuscripts and his own notes as well as personal souvenirs from the ENT doctor Dr. Alfred Tomatis can be admired.
Techniques
The Electronic Ear was developed within the MBL institute and is now available with the label "Brain Activator", for the therapists who received training.
